櫻木第一次接觸homesexuality這個單詞是在野獸的課上－－高級英文寫作教程。那天正好分析的是Thomas Edward Lawrence的作品The
Evil of My Tale。
“Known as 'Lawrence of Arabia'， he was a British solider， archaeologist and
explorer. he wae born at Tremadoc in Wales of unmarried parents……”野獸介紹道，“In 1919
he began to write his account of the Arab campaign and most of the first draft，
several hundred thousand words， stolen at Reading Station， an poor man， well he
was compelled to write the second version from memory， but it was the a third
version that he published as Seven Pillars of Wisdom in a strctly limited
edition in 1926， from which our text is taken. Next， let's goning to deal with
the text.”（鼠鼠：汗，這裡竟然用了英文，畢竟是英文寫作課，希望各位大大不要介意。）

“……Gusts of cruelty， perversions， lusts ran lightly over the surface without
troubling us…… here pay attention to the words: cruelty， perversions and lust.
They are all evlis， referring to mercilessness， homosexual activities， and
strong(sexual) desire.”（cruelty， perversions and lust這裡指冷酷，同性戀行為活動，和強烈的性欲。）
“……and hot flesh and blood…in a cliamte as racking as can be conceived. well，
this sentence means physical hardship heightened intensity of sexual desire
while spirutual exaltation lost its old patient rule over the body. all this
resulted in sexual licence: homosexuality.”
“We had no shut places…… lived candidly with man.”野獸嘴角一揚，繼續道，“This sentence， in
other words， means these men found no places to stay alone， and no adequate
clothes to cover their bodies， and therefore， they were more exposed to each
other both physically and spirutually， without any social or civilized buffering
than they would have been in any civilized circumstances. ”
“今天課文就進行到這裡，呵呵，接下討論時間，”野獸轉身在黑板上刷刷刷寫下：On Homosexuality，“大家可以各自發表對同性戀的看法。”
台下一片寂靜。
“看來大家很害羞，都不想第一個吃螃蟹的啊，呵呵，那我點名了？”野獸環顧一周，學生莫不紛紛低頭，除了一個，“櫻木同學，就你吧。”
“什麼？”櫻木同學冒出一句，一臉困倦。
“說說看，你對同性戀有什麼看法。”野獸加重了語調。
“耶？同性戀？”
“哈哈，敢情櫻木同學不知道？”對著櫻木，野獸一陣淫笑。
“哇哈哈哈，本天才怎麼可能會不知道，不就是同性戀嘛。”
“那你有什麼看法。”野獸步步緊逼。
看著兩人上演的這齣戲，周圍的一群人定義為“美女與野獸”。
題外話：
鼠鼠將翻遍了大腦，發現記憶中有這麼一篇英文作品，連忙翻箱倒櫃將它揪了出來，連同筆記一起看過，兩個字：累，煩。結果就成了這副模樣了。汗，眼前一片的字母，自己看了也想扁死自己。
另外關於Seven Pillars of Wisdom（《智慧七柱》），曾在聖經中看到這樣一句：Wisdom hath builded her house，
she hath hewn out her seven
pillars（智慧建造房屋，鑿成七根柱子）。大抵出自這裡，只是鼠鼠猜測，真實與否也沒有考證，有興趣的大大可以去查查，呵呵，知道結果了希望能告知鼠鼠一聲，這裡多謝了。
同性戀？同性也可相戀？櫻木想著，腦海裡浮現出流川……臉一紅，櫻木站著大叫：“下流！流川！”教室一片安靜，所有目光齊刷刷地聚焦在櫻木身上。很不幸，正好野獸姓流川，名忍。野獸額頭上的青筋不住地跳動著，卡地一聲，名為理智之線的東西斷了，清脆悅耳，“櫻木∼∼”那尖利的長音，像一線鋼絲拋入天際，且於那極高的地方，尚能回環轉折……幾囀之後，又高一層，接連有三四疊，節節高起。恍如由傲來峰西面攀登泰山的景象，初看傲來峰削壁幹仞，以為上與大通；及至翻到做來峰頂，才見扇子崖更在做來峰上；及至翻到扇子崖，又見南天門更在扇子崖上??愈翻愈險，愈險愈奇……等叫到極高的三四疊後，陡然一落，又極力騁其千回百折的精神，如一條飛蛇在黃山三十六峰半中腰裡盤旋穿插……餘音繞梁，三日不絕……
